Frederick Wilson was born in America Samoa on March 20, 1920 in American Samoa to James and Hilda Wilson. Fred went to school in America Samoa and worked all over the United States as a construction worker. Fred met his future wife Anita Simpson while working in San Francisco on the Golden Gate bridge in 1942. They had 8 children, Robert (Anita) of Tucson, AZ, William (Marie) of Buffalo, NY, Samuel (Ann) of Tampa, FL, Lucas (Cindy) of Macon, GA, James (Patricia) of Baton Rouge, LA, Louise McKenzie (Daniel) of Springfield, IL, Barbara Moore (Edward) of Cornersville, TN and Christine Gomez (Ian) of Chicago, IL.
Fred enjoyed playing cards, fishing, golfing and surfing.
Fred is survived by his widow, Anita of the home, 3 brothers, Zeke Wilson of Reno, NV, Claude Wilson of San Diego, CA and Henry Wilson of Portland, OR and his 8 children and 25 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
