BUHL Phillip W. Channell, age 62, of Buhl, died Jan. 4, 2012, at home. Services will be 7 p.m. tonight at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Delbert Canterberry officiating. Private burial will be held in Pate Cemetery with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to services at the funeral home.

Phillip was a member of The Tuscaloosa Police Dept and was a K-9 officer for a while . He was married and had two children.

When I knew Phillip he was always very funny and had a great sense of humor He was a good friend .
