Sara Caldwell Maxwell (Sacy) King was born in Sanford, Florida June 13, 1913 to Richard and Maybelle Maxwell. She lived in Sanford her entire life. She became Sanford city Librarian in June 1951 where she worked until she retired in 1978.
That was the year she discovered after a lifetime of loving and making cloth dolls, that there was a world of porcelain doll makers out there. She bought a kiln, started taking lessons and never stopped. Always generous with her creations, if you professed to love something she made she would usually give it to you.

Estella went by the name of Zalame. She was born on 28 May 1908 in Bowling Green, Kentucky and was the daughter of Richard Levi Brashear and Della Zoleme Campbell. Her parents were both born in Bowling Green. Her father died when she was two years old in 1911. She had two brothers Robert Lansdale Brashear and Richard Herschel Campbell Brashear and a sister Kathleen Hope Brasher. She grew up on her parents farm just north of Bowling Green. Her parents were the first commercial florists in the city and had three greenhouses.

Edith Green French Lenhardt , 87, died Wednesday, April 7, 1993. Mrs. Lenhardt was a retired administrative assistant for The Citadel Registrar's Office, Charleston, South Carolina. Born in Blacksburg, Virginia, Edith was the daughter of hotelier Mark Fulton Green and Mary Elizabeth "Mae Edna" Barger Green. She moved to Orlando, Florida in 1988 following the death of her husband, Maurice J. Lenhardt.

Paul Ellison Slaton, of Tallahassee, FL passed away on February 1st, 2017, after his battle with chronic illness, surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be open to Paul's family and friends on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 10am at the American Legion Hall at 229 Lake Ella Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32303.

The son of an iron worker who helped build bridges across the United States, Robert Joseph Chewning also built bridges - ones of community spirit and public trust through his chosen career on the Orlando Police Department following discharge from the U.S. Eighth Air Force at the end of WWII.

Steve G. Condurelis Jr., age 95, passed on January 9, 2016 in Bonita Springs, FL after a lengthy illness. Born in Valdosta, GA on June 26, 1921 and grew up on his grandfather’s farm. He was a star football player in high school before joining the Navy. He served in World War II in the South Pacific on the USS Saratoga. As a radio operator, he was part of the team who installed the first radar system on the ship. After the war he attended Georgia Tech, was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering, (in three years).

Brian Stewart Adams was born on November 8, 1931 in Wallasey, England, a small town to the west of Liverpool (the home of The Beatles). Growing up near the ports of River Mersey, Brian was interested in ships and worked from a rather young age at the Mersey Docks and Harbour. He also volunteered for England’s Army Reserve (Territorial Army).
In 1957, Brian married Maureen Geach of Liverpool, England. He lived with his wife and children in Birkenhead, England just outside of Liverpool working as a Business Machine Service Technician for several years.

Sadie Osborne was born in Gray, KY to her parents Sudie Cooper Reese and William Bradley Reese, who both proceeded her in death as well as both her husbands, Fred Burnett and Shannon Osborne She lived in different states during her life but mostly TN, KY, and FL. Her surviving relatives are Donna Burnett Jones of Lake City, FL and James Darrel Burnett of Robson, WV. She has 2 sisters, Wilma Patterson of Dayton, OH and Patricia Owens of Norwood OH.

James A. Bowman, age 66, passed away peacefully, Saturday, Dec.17, 2016 at his home in Sarasota.
James was born July 16,1950 in Guyana, Louisiana. He was a veteran in Vietnam, Married his wife of 44 yrs Glenda Bowman in 1972.
Retried from Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation as a Park Ranger ll at Wilderness Park in 2004.
James enjoyed gardening, fishing and anything to do with being outside,loved to watch old western (John Wayne), game shows.

Arthur C. Weber, USAF Retired left us on March 11, 2013 at the age of 94. His wife Dora of 54 years had already passed in 1996. Arthur is survived by his four children, John Weber of Massachusetts, retired; Barbara Casey of Florida, retired;Patti Smith o fSouth Carolina, retired; and Arthur C. Weber, Jr. of Tennessee, retired USAF Colonel. Arthur's four children gave him 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
